What won’t you sharpen?
- I currently do not accept saw blades, ceramic blades, or scissors used for grooming (pet or human)
Do you offer pick up and drop off services from my home?
- Yes, for an additional $20/order I will pick up/drop off right from your front door. Feel free to go on an adventure while I bring life back to your knives. Just leave whatever needs sharpened on your porch and I will take care of the rest. I’ll send you a text with payment information when I’m done, and your knives will show up right where you left them, happy and ready for work.
How do you sharpen my knives?
- The best system for knife sharpening is hand sharpening with a whetstone, which is what I use. This ensures the heat treatment of your blade is never at risk, and your knives lose minimal material each time they are sharpened.
Do I need to schedule an appointment?
- Just let me know when you are planning to drop off your knives so I can make sure I know they’ve arrived, but generally you can drop them off whenever is most convenient. If you need a quick turnaround time (1 hour or so) then please schedule an appointment so I know to devote my full time to your order.
